RUMOR UPDATE: Firmware ver.4.0 will come… LIST OF NEW FEATURES
The new firmware ver.4.0 will really make the X-T1 a “complete new camera!”. It will bring faster AF and new features.
- Better AF overall accuracy and performance
- AF system update with zone tracking
- New auto macro functionality
- Eye detection AF feature
- Improved frame lines
- Shutter dial performance improvements
- Exposure compensation will be allowed in manual mode
As rumored previoulsy here:
A) Fuji will announce the new Firmware in Mid-May (probably the 11th)
B) The Firmware will be available for download in June (this means, more or less when the X-T10 will be available on the market) – NOTE: last minutes delay can happen, see X100 firmware.
No word about other X-series camears beeing updated for now.
