Fujifilm X-H2S Reviews Drop on the Web, with Lots of Happy (and Well Tracked) Faces

Share

The Fujifilm X-H2S is falling into hands of fellow X shooters, and hence reviews are spreading all over the web.

In short we can say that this camera is making lots of people very happy. :) This is autofocus performance as never seen before on any Fujifilm camera, and at that level won’t be found even on the Fujifilm X-H2 or Fujifilm X-T5, as they both will feature a non-stacked 40MP sensor.

Gordon from Cameralabs reviewed the Fujifilm X-H2S. No noticeable difference over the X-Trans IV Fuji cameras in terms of image quality, but huge difference in autofocous speed and features.

Please note: Gordon tested the buffer when shooting high bursts using a SanDisk CFexpress card. But keep in mind that Fujifilm explicitly told us that with the SanDisk you won’t have as long bursts as with these four CFexpress card models.

So, he would have gotten even better results, if he’d use one of these cards instead of the SanDisk Exterme Pro.

You can read the full article about the official Fujifilm recommended CFexpress (and SD-cards) here.

Luca Petralia also covers the Fujifilm X-H2S, and he includes some interesting slides.

Down below, he Pascal Basel explains why he left Sony for Fujifilm: in short: Fujifilm i s fun!

Down below two Dutch videos. In short:

  • Af is great, even with older lenses like the 56 apd could do tracking of the motors
  • Only downside with multiple people it its hard to switch. Its really sticky…
  • Noise is on par with t4
  • Video is great, no overheating problems or even warnings while shooting in 120 and proress all day in hot summer weather.
