LEAKED: First Image of TTArtisan AF 23mmF1.8 for Fujifilm X

This is the first image of the TTArtisan AF 23mm f/1.8 coming next for Fujifilm X mount.

Now, a more compact 23mm lens is definitely high on the Fujifilm X shooter wishlist.

In fact, it is the most wished lens by Fujifilm X shooters, according to a massive survey we launched last year.

But I think most of the people, who voted for the compact XF23mm lens would only really grab one, if it had an aperture ring.

So while the TTartisan AF 23mm f/1.8 is a welcome addition and will definitely be priced very gently, if it follows the pattern of its siblings (the 35 and 56 /1.8), I believe many fellow X shooter will pass on this one just because it does not have an aperture ring (I certainly will not buy it).

But the world is beautiful because everybody is different and has different preferences. So if no aperture ring is not a deal breaker for you, then maybe the TTartisan 23mm f/1.8 might intrigue you.

For me, the perfect XF23mm would look like the fan-made XF23mmF2 rendering we shared in this article (and you can see below).
