Share Your Love – Fujifilm X/GFX Communities to Follow

FujiRumors is nice and good.

You get exclusive rumors, fresh news and overall it is just a useful and informative place to be for Fujifilm X and GFX lovers (at least I hope you perceive it this way, too).

But it has one major limit: it’s a one man show.

And while this is good, because news and rumors are filtered through my expertise, making sure for example that fake rumors have no space here, the disadvantage is that there’s a single perspective at play, which can sometimes limit diversity in opinions.

But luckily there is a way to “escape” my unilateral view on the Fujifilm system.

You can always comment below, but you can also join the vibrant Fujifilm communities linked below, in which you will find and can share all possible thoughts and ideas about the Fujifilm system… and especially, you will be able to enjoy TONS of images taken with Fujiflm gear.

Tokina AF 11-18mm f/2.8 atm-x for Fujifilm X Announced

The Tokina AF 11-18mm f/2.8 atm-x lens for Fujifilm X mount has just been announced.

When Tokina launched their first Fujifilm X mount autofocus trinity, I was very skeptical and criticized their choice, as they looked like to be just a rebranded (and more expensive) version of the Viltrox X mount trinity.

And I guess many other people were disappointed just like me, so much so that non too long after, Tokina discontinued their first three X mount lenses.

But there was another APS-C lens launched by Tokina in 2022, that would have been way more interesting to have for X mount: the Tokina 11-18mmF2.8 for Sony E mount.

Well, the wait is now over, as Tokina has now launched the Tokina atx-m 11-18mmF2.8 X for Fujifilm X mount.

You can read the full press release below.

It’s competitors in this zoom and price range are the Sigma 10-18mmF2.8 DC DN X and the Tamron 11-20mmF2.8.
