Guys, do yourself a favour. Get the newer Fujifilm X App instead of the old app.
But if for some reason you are still using the old App (and if you do so, tell us why in the comments), Fujifilm is aware of the issues with iOS 18 and they are going to fix it. You can read the full statement below.
Just keep in mind that these are only renderings. When I overlaid image of the original XF16-55mmF2.8 onto its own shape shown in the teaser, the sizes didn’t quite match up. The actual XF16-55mmF2.8 lens seems to be still slightly larger than what’s depicted in the teaser.
If that’s correct, then the new XF16-55mmF2.8 II should be even a tiny bit smaller compared to the original XF16-55mmF2.8 than what the teaser images would suggest.
Feel free to do your own comparisons and share them in the comments down below.
At FujiRumors, we always emphasize that competition is a positive force. The stronger Fujifilm’s competitors become, the more it drives Fujifilm to innovate and improve.
This concept also applies to major online retailers, who strive to outdo each other by offering better deals to attract customers.
So we do recommend you to compare prices among several stores to see who is offering the best deal on gear you might be interested in (including your local stores).
