When here on FujiRumors we first leaked the images of the X-T2 (back in April 15), we all could see that the tilt screen is definitely different compared to the one of the X-T1

My very personal guess was, that it could have a mechanism like the one we can find in the [shoplink 45357 ebay]Pentax K1[/shoplink].

But I was wrong!

The trusted Japanese source noticed my wrong guess and invited me to correct it: as the image shows, the X-T2 will indeed have a different tilt mechanism over the X-T1, but it’s not like the one of the Pentax K1.

I got word from trusted source, that the 2.0x Teleconverter will be officially announced in May. The informations seems to be correct, since the first official images and the estimated price have now been leaked at digicame-info.

The 2.0x was first rumored by our sources here, then officially presented at the CP+ in February.

• Fujifilm to announce soon teleconverter XF2X TC WR. Estimated retail price is ¥ 59000 (tax included)
• Lens Hood LH-XF23. Estimated retail price of 8600 yen (including tax).
• Reservation of wide conversion lens WCL-X70 is also started soon.

There will be also a new lens hood for the XF23mmF1.4 lens.

According to a trusted source (thanks for sharing), Fujifilm will release a bug fix Firmware for the X-Pro2! This Firmware comes after FW 1.01, which fixed the Reset Issue.

What will it fix? It will probably fix black frame issue (Black Frames between shots in single shot mode) and maybe some other bugs (Full list of X-Pro2 Bugs here)

When will it come? I’m not sure yet. Maybe there will be a dedicated Firmware very soon or maybe it will be bundled with the EF-X500 or 2.0x Teleconverter support Firmware later on. The latter option could allow Fujifilm to “hide” the bug-fix behind a regular support Firmware.

Good to see Fujifilm fixing these bugs… so the Fujifilm X-T2 won’t have these issues at its launch.
