Kaizen Firmware Updates

At the Fujifilm X Summit, Fujifilm has announced the release of major firmware updates for 5th generation gear.

Down below I will list all the details for each camera:

X-H2 + X-H2S

• red frame indicator fro video – already available on X-T5 and X-S20
• frame.io without the need of FT-XH file transmitter grip

X-H2 + X-H2S + X-T5 + X-S20

• touch to track autofocus in video
• improved subject detection with electronic shutter (already available on X100VI and GFX100II)
• Reala Ace film simulation

X-H2S + X-T5 + X-S20

• Improved tracking performance accuracy

The Reala Film Simulation firmware and Frame.io firmware are scheduled for Summer 2024. The rest should come in Spring 2024.
