MHG-XT pre-orders at AmazonUS + X100/S firmware coming on April 22 + TCL-X100 in May for $350

In the Japanese press-release (translation) of the TCL-X100 we can find some more information about the TCL-X100 teleconversion lens for the Fujifilm X100/S (thanks Antoine B.).

• “The latest firmware can be downloaded from the website of Fujifilm. (Will be released April 22, 2014)“. In the English version of the press-release Fuji wrote: “Achieving the very best results from the TCL-X100 is simple; just select the ‘Tele- Conversion Lens’ option in the FUJIFILM X100/X100S’s shooting menu. To enable this extra functionality, the camera must update the firmware(X100:ver2.10 or later /X100S:ver1.20 or later) which also allows the option to be selected via the function (Fn) button.”
• ” it is possible to “Fujifilm tele conversion lens TCL-X100” (hereinafter referred to as “TCL-X100”) will be released on April 25, 2014“

So outside Japan the lens will be available in May. Another confirmation of rumors posted previously here on Fujirumors comes from dpreview. They say that the price of the TCL-X100 will be of $350.
