Official Teaser for Fujinon XF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR Released

The last time Fujifilm has launched a new X mount lens roadmap was back in 2022 here. Since then, absolute silence.

In 2023 we complaint about the lack of an updated roadmap and in 2024 we went so far to make our own roadmap which included rumored lenses.

Well, roadmap or not, we will get new lenses, and FujiRumors readers know that the next one to come will be the Fujinon XF500mm f/5.6 R LM OIS WR and the Fujinon XF16-55mmF2.8 II.

And while Fujifilm might now release new roadmaps, they at least launched a new teaser for the upcoming telephoto lens. It says “Go Further” and shows a long lens.

You only see a vague shape of the lens, but here on FujiRumors you can find a quite accurate rendering of it.
