7Artisans 25mm f/0.95 First Review, Product and Sample Images

Just yesterday we reported that 7Artisans is about to release the 7Artisans 25mm f/0.95 lens for Fujifilm X.

After my article, a FR-reader reached out to me (thanks) and directed my attention a website called schlueter-enterprises, who has already shared sample images, product images as well as an initial review about this lens. I will share the link to everything down below. Now here just some main points and images.

  •  build quality of 7Artisans 25mm f/0.95 lens is fully in line with the high end quality finish of 7Artisans 35mm f/0.95 and 7Artisans 50mm f/0.95
  • smooth damped movement of the aperture and focus ring
  • 11 lenses in 9 groups (3 lenses are made of high end HOYA ultra low dispersion glass)
  • a bit front heavy on X-Pro2 due to 99.7mm length and weight
  • filter diameter of Ø52mm
  • without lens hood the IQ is already high [admin note: he still needs to get a proper lens hood for this lens]

Voigtländer Nokton 35mmF1.2: Electronic Contacts, Full Specs, Press Release and Official Sneak Peek

We’ve shared hands on images of the new Voigtländer Nokton 35mm f/1.2 for Fujifilm X mount earlier today.

Now we spotted an official teaser to this lens at the Voigtländer website. It’s in German, so I’ll share first the google translated version and then the original one in German.

Also, a Polish distributor has shared the full specs and press release, so we share that one too here on FujiRumors (google translated via optyczne).

Also in German you can find the full press release at photoscala (images below).

Fujifilm Product Timeline 2021/2022: About X-H2, GFX50SII, XF150-600 and More (And What Will NOT Come)

FUJIFILM 2021/2022
RUMORED PRODUCT RELEASE TIMELINE

Time to update our previous X and GFX gear timeline, which was not only limited to 2021, but lacked of some gear we rumored in the following months.

Also, I’ll include a list of products that will not come as the fake rumors keep spreading and I notice a tendency in forums to believe just everything that is written or talked about somewhere, may it be a monochrome camera, and X-T40 with IBIS coming very soon, the X-H2 coming 2021 and totally random stuff like that.

But luckily there is a 100% efficient anti-fake-rumors-vaccine called FujiRumors, so check out the list down below to know what Fujifilm really plans and when it will come.

And it won’t end here.

In fact, I have a skype call scheduled with the Japanese source in very near future. After the last call a few weeks ago, we dropped a couple of rumor-bombs (X-H2 details, the end of X-Trans IV, no more X cameras in 2021, the new GF zoom to come second half 2021 and more stuff I am not allowed to share just yet).

I expect that also our next call will be very interesting.

In case you’d like to know what it shared with us, feel free to follow FujiRumors and get updates via Facebook, RSS-feed and Twitter.

But until then, here is the most updated list of gear to come (and gear that won’t come).

Apple Adds RAW Support for More Fujifilm Cameras Including Fujifilm X-T4 and X-S10 with MacOS Big Sur and iPadOS 14.5

FR-reader Moritz made me notice on Twitter here, that a couple of weeks ago MacOS Big Sur added uncompressed RAW support for additional Fujifilm cameras.

This means you can now edit RAW files from Fujifilm X-T4, X-S10 and more in all major image editing apps on iPad as well as apps on macOS that use the RAW engine provided by iOS (Apple Core Image RAW), such as Affinity Photo or one of my favorites, RAW Power.

Sadly not yet supported are the Fujifilm GFX100S and the original GFX100. Also the Fujifilm X-E4 is not yet included.

Down below you can find the fill list of currently supported X and GFX cameras.

Fujifilm X-H2 in 2022 Will Be FIRST X Series Camera with New Sensor and Processor

Here is what we know thanks to our rumors:

Now, since an illustrious Fujifilm managers talked about a breakthrough to achieve with Fujifilm X-H2, we all expected the Fujifilm X-H2 to feature a new sensor and processor.

But some readers contacted recently, asking me if maybe the first camera to introduce the new sensor and processor will be the X-Pro4, followed by the X-H2 later on.

And I understand where this comes from. It happened in the past that Fujifilm used the X-Pro line to introduce new platforms (X-Pro1 and X-Pro2).

Well, today I’d like to clarify that and say that the Fujifilm X-H2 will be Fujifilm’s first X series camera to introduce the new sensor and processor platform, and not the X-Pro4.

But attention: the Fujifilm X-H2 is still far away, and we will not get it until some point in 2022.

Fujifilm is crafting a monstrous camera and they are not allowed to fail. This means that they will take all the time they need to release real stunner, confident of the fact that in the meantime sales of X-T series, X-S10 and X100V cameras will keep up going strong, allowing Fujifilm not to hurry with the X-H2.

As one of our trusted sources said: it will be a long wait, but it will be well worth it.

The Royal Choice – Kate Middleton Shoots Fujifilm :: The Leica Choice – Leica Store Films Q2 Monochrom Presentation with Fujifilm and More

Ein Beitrag geteilt von Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (@kensingtonroyal)

Once or twice a year, we like to share a little curiosity roundup, looking at famous people who shoot Fujifilm or to look at ads or movies where Fujifilm cameras pop up.

Today we have a few additions, starting with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who also shoots Fujifilm, more precisely a nice silver vintage Fujifilm X-T3, as you can see on instagram here. She joins other royals like the King of Sweden.

But maybe we guys should start a gofundme campaign to buy her a new sync conncetion cover ;)

And since we talk curiosities….

The Leica Store in Germany filmed their Leica Q2 Monochrom presentation with a Fujifilm camera (see video below).

More tidbits below.

Top 5 Forgotten Fujinon X Mount Lenses

When I shared the rumor that Fujifilm will release another f/1.4 prime in 2021, the comment section exploded with 300 comments about dreams and wishes what it could or should be.

Today I was reading through your comments, and truly enjoyed the vivid discussion.

But when I arrived to the end of it, I realized that while it’s fun and nice to watch ahead and see what the future might bring us in terms of gear, sometimes it’s also worth to stop for a moment and look back at what we already have.

So, today, I’d like to bring back the attention to five Fujinon XF lenses that I call “forgotten“, but not because people don’t own and love them, but just because they have slipped under the radar overrun by the buzz about the latest and greatest and therefore don’t get the coverage they’d deserve anymore.

So FujiRumors would like to bring back balance in the Fuji Universe and gives to 5 lenses the revival they deserve.

Fujicast Interview with Fujifilm Manager: Talking Breakthrough Fujifilm X-H2, X-E4 the Last 26 MP (?), Open Lens Protocols, X80 and More!

The latest Fujicast episode is now online, covering all the current Fujifilm announcements with Fujifilm’s UK Marketing Manager, Andreas Georghiades (GFX100S, GF80mmF1.7, X-E4, XF70-300mm and XF27mmMKII.

But as there is a podcast listener question corner, you can figure out that many questions gravitate towards future Fujifilm products and more. So they touch on Fujifilm X-H2, the open lens protocols, the X80 and more.

Kevin Mullins also speculates that the X-E4 might be the last X series camera featuring the 26MP X-Trans sensor and the manager says that there is indeed not much left to update with the 26MP sensor.

However, nobody knows what the first camera with a new sensor will be. There is still an X-T40 waiting to see the light of the day for example, which is such a loved line, that Fujifilm should definitely continue it in my opinion.
