DPReviewTV is pretty impressed with the brand new Fujifilm 23mm f1.4 WR LM. They also compare it to Fujifilm’s original 23mm F1.4 to see how they compare.
Btw. the original XF23mmF1.4 was a spectacular performer at the recent wedding I photographed. So the true challenge for Fujifilm was to improve something that is already really good, and it looks like they succeeded with it.
Moreover, keep in mind that we don’t see the real sharpness potential of any of the latest Fujinon lenses, as those will be visible only as soon as the 40 megapixel Fujifilm X-H2 hits the market in 2022.
Just as we told you recently here, the Tamron 18-300mm f/3.4-6.3 is scheduled to be released in late October. More precisely on October 28 according to Nokishita.
As for the price, I guess it will cost about the same as the Sony E mount version.
The X-mount version of Tamron “18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD” is the same as “35-150mm F / 2-2.8 Di III VXD” and “28-75mm F / 2.8 Di III VXD G2“. It seems that it will be released on October 28, 2021. Reservation starts tomorrow (or the day after tomorrow)
Pre-Order Open Soon: Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3: BHphoto / AmazonUS / Adorama

I don’t know you, but I love teasers.
And yet, after almost a year of constant teasers, Sigma could also stop it and announce them already.
What are we talking about?
Well, of Fujifilm X mount autofocus lenses from Sigma.
Anyway, the latest teaser published by Sigma seems to indicate that our wait should soon be over. Here is what Sigma writes:
Stay tuned as I’m sure a variety of X mount are on the horizon in the near future.
Sigma also said:
We hope to see some X mount releases at some point this year.
I don’t know what to tell you guys. At this point I’ll just say I believe it when I see it!
And yet, I can’t stop being cautiously optimistic about it.
