We did share a dedicated Fujifilm X-H1 roundup earlier today. Don’t miss it. But of course there is lots of stuff about the X-T3 been shared in these days. So here is the next Fujifilm X-T3 roundup.
I am not that kind of guy, who breaks into a place bypassing security checks…
I broke into photokina bypassing security checks 1 day ahead of the official opening, because I could not wait to deliver you the first images side by side of the XF33mmF1.0, XF16-80mmF4 and XF16mmF2.9 and first hands on video of the Fujifilm GFX 50R.
But let’s talk about it later and start with the Fujifilm managers.
They now support all Fujifilm cameras, the will add film simulation support and tethering for GFX 50S, X-H1, X-T3, X-T2, X-T1, X-Pro2 and they also launched a special Fujifilm version.
One of the top questions I got after the announcement of the Fujifilm X-T3, is when the Fujifilm X-Pro3 will come.
Well guys, in the Fuji world, rangefinder cameras like the Fujifilm X-Pro and X-E line, do not sell nearly as well as their SLR-like brothers, such as the X-T20 or the new X-T3.
Hence, Fujifilm is never in a hurry to release new iterations of those cameras. The Fujifilm X-Pro line for example even skipped the X-Trans II generation, and went from X-Trans I directly to X-Trans III.
And so far I have not heard anything reliable about the Fujifilm X-Pro3.
So all we can do for now, is imagine how we would like the Fujifilm X-Pro3 to be.
X-Pro3 Design
A FR-reader send me this Flickr link, where H.B. Kang imagines an X-Pro3 with vertical grip and new colors.
So I thought, why not, let’s talk Fujifilm X-Pro3 and start dreaming how it should be.
In addition to Kang’s X-Pro3, I will add down below some real Fujifilm X-Pro2 (and X-Pro1s) concept that Fujifilm studied during the X-Pro2 development. We have already shown them in this FujiRumors post, and you can find more images at senzo.co here.
I will start by launching a poll, where you can vote the top 3 features you’d like to see on the Fujifilm X-Pro3. Vote, and then let your imagination soar free in the comments.
Ahead of the launch of the new Fujifilm GFX 50R on September 25 at 07:30 AM New York time, our top trusted Japanese source decided to make us one of its present: accurate hand-made sketches of the Fujifilm GFX 50R.
And if you doubt our amazing sources, just check out the sketches the very same Japanese source did of the X-Pro2 here and X-H1 here.
If you like months of exclusive breaking rumors for you here on fujirumors.com, then feel free to join the big party on September 25 at 07:30 AM New York time. There will be…
KNGO has received all $5,000 from the various charity initiatives we have launched on FujiRumors for free education for Cambodian kids. Feel free to keep up supporting KNGO by donating a few bucks using their Donate Page.
As you know, Fujifilm has launched a dedicated Fujifilm Photokina microsite, where you can check out all the events planed for photokina.
Now they also published an official press release with all the details.
Well, actually not really all the details, since they don’t tell you that they will display also the Fujifilm GFX 50R, which will be announced on September 25 at 07:30 AM New York time :).
Could this be the first real life image of the Fujifilm GFX 50 R? (thanks for sharing)
If yes, then here is what we can say:
rangefinder style camera
EVF only
diopter adjustment like on X-Pro2 and not on X-E3
makes a compact impression
in this image, there is probably a flash trigger attached to the hot shoe
We remind you that the Fujifilm GFX 50 R will be launched around photokina (which takes place between 26 to 29 September). It will be rangefinder styled medium format camera and if this image is real, with EVF only, hence more similar to the Fujifilm X-E3 than to the Fujifilm X-Pro3.
The final Fujifilm GFX 50 R price has not yet been set, I guess also because Fujifilm wants to see at what price tag the Full Frame Canon EOS R is. But in any case it will be significantly less than Fujiilm GFX 50S
But already now I feel pretty confident to claim, that the Fujiflm GFX 50R will look much better than the Fujifilm GFX 50S.
Did you invest in DSLR’s or any other non-Fujifilm system?
Well, then let your fingers from the Fujifilm X100F, since the perfidious Fuji Guys conceived this camera as the “gateaway drug” into the X world.
In fact, I often hear of Nikon or Canon shooters, who just got and X100F as a secondary camera for everyday shooting. But once they felt the pleasure, inspiration and quality of shooting with Fujifilm, they started to buy an X-Pro2, or an X-T2, a few lenses, and ended up ditching their DSLR system completely.
Today we report about another hardcore Nikon shooter, who made the error to get an X100F as a secondary camera: very popular youtube photographer The SnapChick.
She says about the X100F:
She tried the Nikon DF, which never fully embrace its inner “analogueness”
X100F hits the sweet spot between old school feel and modern features
X100F solidly build and super clean, classic design
it’s all about the basics
intuitive menu. Coming from other brands, she felt like she already knew how to use 90% of the functions without needing the menu or manual
Sony mirrorless felt like a computer for her, but Fujifilm is doing it right
she liked to use film simulations a lot
this was the first time in a long time, that she was excited to look at photos later on
she thought that the X100F would make an occasional guest appearance in her camera bag, but after a couple of months with “this gem” and the Fujifilm X100F was almost always in her bag, and often no other camera
high quality images that rival anything else out there
Fujifilm’s passion is evident, or they could never have produced something like this, where the features and the functions are so well geared to help you do that one thing really well: capturing great images with the least distraction while giving you full creative control
I doubt she will end up ditching their Nikon system, since most of her followers on youtube are Nikon shooters. But it’s nice that she captures in words so nicely what’s about to be a Fujifilm X shooter: enjoying the pictures just as much as the process to take them.

Back in July, we reported that Elinchrom announced Skyport Pro support for Fujifilm coming in September 2018.
And just two weeks ago, we leaked the first images of a working prototype of the Fujifilm compatible Elinchrom Trigger (and the source also unveiled to us the reason why we Fujifilm X shooters had to wait so long for Elinchrom support).
But we are getting closer now, and on August 14, Elinchrom also updated their support page and shared more details about which Fujifilm cameras will be supported:
It’s been very busy with rumors over here in the last weeks and months, so I coudn’t share as many miXed zones as I want. But today I will try to catch up and share a major camera roundup.
A big “thank you” to all of you guys, who contact me and share your content with me… you keep this roundups alive and interesting, and I am always happy to support your work by featuring you on FujiRumors.com.
The Fujifilm community is simply the best, and I will do my little part in this community, by sharing your work for as long as FujiRumors will run :) .
