Fujifilm GFX BOOM: 10% More GFX Owners on FR in Just 2 Years: Which GFX Camera (and GF Lenses) do You Own? VOTE NOW

Share

Well, I had the impression that the Fujifilm GFX shooters reading FujiRumors were more than the 3% of just 2 years ago.

But I wouldn’t have expected this:

According to our latest survey, 13% of FujiRumors readers now own a GFX camera.

So now comes my next curiosity: which one is the Fujifilm GFX camera you chose to shoot with?

And since we talk GFX, I’ll add a survey about on which lenses do you own. Also in this case, if you have a GF80mmF1.7 on pre-order you qualify as GF80mmF1.7 owner.

So, fellow GFX owners, feel free to drop your vote down below.

Also, you can let us know if you what kind of photographer you are.

Ein Beitrag geteilt von Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (@kensingtonroyal)

Once or twice a year, we like to share a little curiosity roundup, looking at famous people who shoot Fujifilm or to look at ads or movies where Fujifilm cameras pop up.

Today we have a few additions, starting with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who also shoots Fujifilm, more precisely a nice silver vintage Fujifilm X-T3, as you can see on instagram here. She joins other royals like the King of Sweden.

But maybe we guys should start a gofundme campaign to buy her a new sync conncetion cover ;)

And since we talk curiosities….

The Leica Store in Germany filmed their Leica Q2 Monochrom presentation with a Fujifilm camera (see video below).

More tidbits below.

X Series Origins: Secret Development Story of Fujifilm X series to Celebrate 10th Anniversary – Fujifilm X Lab

Share

The Fujifilm X series turned 10 years old in September 2020.

Now, in its latest Fujifilm X Lab episode, Fujifilm managers and engineers unveil what they call the “secret development story” of the the Fujifilm X series and how it all started with the original Fujifilm X100.

Once again it’s in Japanese, and this time there is not even the automatic google translation tool activated to help us.

However, I contacted a Japanese speaking FR-reader, who was extremely kind and made a summary for the entire FR community. I know these things take time, so huge thanks to Hiko for the help.
