Yesterday Fujifilm released a firmware update for the Fujifilm X-T2, X-T20 and GFX 50S, as well as new X RAW STUDIO and X ACQUIRE software. Full report and first looks here.
Fujifilm also released a new features guide for each one of these cameras.
At this stage, normally the third party seller offering the lens for sale via Amazon can change often. So make sure to check out the official authorized Fujifilm dealer list here and here, to be sure you don’t buy grey market gear with limited warranty.
We already reported that BHphoto started shipping the XF80mm last week. Did you get yours? Then feel free to let us know in the comments what you think about it.

Nokishita noticed that in the update file of X-RAW STUDIO Fujifilm adds support for the Fujifilm X-H1. Great spot, Nokishita!
But what camera is this?
Nokishita does not know, what hides behind the name “X-H1” and they don’t know any specs, except for the fact that it has 24MP and 1/32,000 shutter speed… but luckily FujiRumors can help :)
The Fujifilm X-H1 is Fuji’s first IBIS camera. Fujifilm changed name from X-T2S to X-H1. That’s what hides behind this mysterious camera :).
In the comments, some suggested that “H” stands for “Hybrid”, meaning stills/video hybrid camera. Makes perfectly sense. The new Fujinon MK Cine lenses have no OIS, and of course Fujifilm designed them without stabilization, knowing the X-H1 would come with IBIS.
All the specs I have shared so far for the X-T2S remain the same for the X-H1. It’s the same camera, just with different name.
A complete new camera line is coming… and let’s hope the changes over the X-T2 will be enough to justify the launch of a new line.
Oh, and dear FR-readers, if you see the name X-H1 popping up elsewhere saying that it will have IBIS, feel free to let your kind comment on those blogs/youtube channels and ask them to quote FujiRumors as the source.
Fujifilm’s “X-H1” is published on the latest device compatible device
In other files, the settings such as the number of pixels of “X – H1” (24 million pixels) and the shutter speed (maximum speed of 1/32000) etc are described, but the XML file containing the compatible device is the easiest to read I think. Details are unknown, but it seems that there is no doubt that “X – H1” is under development.
X-H1 Rumored Specs
Despite what Fujifilm managers said about X-mount not being compatible with IBIS, the X-H1 will have IBIS
As opposed to Olympus & Co, IBIS and OIS will not work together… at least currently that’s not possible. Maybe Fujifilm will tweak the firmware in future. But at launch I don’t expect IBIS and OIS to work together.

ON/OFF for 1/3-step shutter speed adjustment: The update allows you to turn off the Command Dial’s function to adjust shutter speed by 1/3 steps in order to prevent unintended adjustments.
Addition of “Shoot Without Card” mode: With the update, you can have the “Shoot Without Card” mode turned OFF so that the camera will not shoot when there is no SD card inserted.
Addition of “-6” and “-7” to EVF’s brightness setting: The update will extend the “EVF Brightness” setting options to “-6” and “-7” so that, even in an extremely low-light condition, the brightness of the EVF does not distract you from shooting.
Support for “Instax SHARE SP-3”: Additionally,” Instax SHERE SP-3″ has become compatible with this camera.

New Firmware Updates for GFX and X Series Cameras available now
Valhalla, N.Y., November 29, 2017 – Fujifilm North America Corporation today announced the launch of FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO, a new conversion software that allows photographers to quickly and easily convert RAW files while maintaining outstanding image quality.
FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO enables users to convert RAW files with ease, offering exceptionally fast conversions. Due to the size of RAW files, photographers can often find batch conversion extremely time consuming. Users can store conversion settings or copy settings between images, and variable image processing conditions can be adjusted in the same way as in-camera RAW conversion.
Fujifilm X RAW STUDIO Key Features:
Supports single or batch conversion for RAW images through a Mac or PC system.
Image processing settings can be adjusted like the in-camera RAW conversion.
All conversion parameters available through in-camera RAW conversion are adjustable, enabling photographers to monitor results in a preview window when changing settings.
Displays before and after images side-by-side for easy comparison while changing adjusting settings.
Enables users to save, load, or copy conversion profiles onto another RAW image.
