Chinese Fuji X Lenses

Here on FujiRumors we regulary take a look at the Chinese X mount glass offering, such as in this major Chinese X mount lenses roundup.

The latest entry is the Viltrox 85mmF1.8, which is, besides the Zeiss Touit Trinity, the only third party lens manufacturer to offer an autofocus lens for Fujifilm X. Fujirumors has still the worldwide only Viltrox 85/1.8 autofocus test and RAW samples to download.

Today it’s time for another Chinese Fujifilm X mount roundup.

Chinese Fujifilm X Mount lenses

The market of (more or less) affordable Fujifilm X-mount glass is growing quickly, especially thanks to Chinese lens manufacturers such as Laowa, 7Artisans, Meike, Mitakon and Sainsonic.

One of the latest entries is the Neewer 35mm f/1.2, which costs $119 and we reported about it here. But to have a complete overview, just check out this forum post about all available X-mount lenses.

Let’s say it clearly first: if you want the best IQ possible (and autofocus), get Fujinon glass and look no further.

But some of these Chinese lens options might be worth a try, hence, here on FujiRumors we will continue to collect reviews and share them with you.

Today we are going to share reviews and samples of the following lenses

Feel free to check out the reviews and samples down below:

Other Chinese lenses for Fujifilm X mount are

Laowa 9mmF2.8 + Kamlan 50mmF1.1 + Opteka 35mmF1.7 + 7artisans 35mmF1.2 + Mitakon 35mmF0.95 + Fujinon XF 80 & More

It is time for a dedicated lens roundup… and it’s a rather massive one, that includes third party lenses, and also Fujinon glass.

I am trying to catch up with all the links you guys send me and you ask me to be featured on FujiRumors. I will feature you all, but given the huge demand, it might take some time before I can share you all. Thanks for your patience :)

Ibelux 40mm F0.85 + Mitakon F0.95 Reviews + 7Artisans 35mm f/2 :: Best Fujinon Lenses in Late 2017 :: XF60 No Poor-Mans 56 (X-Mount Lens Zone)

Fujifilm X-shooters have a few ultra fast X-mount third party lens options, such as the Mitakon 35/0.95 and the Ibelux 40/0.85. But how do they perform?

Well, there are many reports already shared on FujiRumors, such as Jonas Rasks’ Mitakon 35/0.95 review. And today I want to add a few more reports, also about the second generation Ibelux 40mm/0.85, the currently fastest lens you can buy in Fuji X mount, and which is no longer a “HandeVision” but a “Kipon” product, as reported by dc.watch here

7Artisans Will Launch New Fujifilm X Mount Lenses This Year

via Mirrlessrumors via Richard Wong

7Artisans contacted me and told me about their upcoming product roadmap which they haven’t announce before. They have three new lenses coming out before end of this year:

1. 12mm f/2.8 lens for cropped sensor mirrorless cameras: Sony E, Canon EOS-M, Fuji X and Micro Four Thirds.

2. 35mm f/1.2 lens for cropped sensor mirrorless cameras: Sony E, Canon EOS-M, Fuji X and Micro Four Thirds.

3. 35mm f/2 lens for Leica M Mount cameras. And unlike their 50mm f/1.1 lens (review link in this post), the aperture lens of the 35 f/2 will have clicks!!! The de-clicked aperture ring on the 50 f/1.1 lens is probably the biggest complaint I’ve heard about this lens and I did contact them while I was working on the review and suggested them to consider making a clicked version for their future M lenses. So it’s great to hear they are listening to customers!!

No price or other information about these lenses yet, but they promised they’ll let me know as soon as they are available (which can’t be too far away as it’s already Nov!)
So stay tuned!!
