What to Expect from Fujifilm in 2024 (and What Probably Not)

In November we have shared quite some rumors (as you can see here). And not only that! In our previous 2024 outlook, we forgot to add gear that Fujifilm has already pre-announced to come in 2024 as well as give you a look into rumored third party AF lenses.

That’s why we need to update our view into the Fujifilm year 2024.

All the X/GFX rumors come from our sources, whereas the speculations are often based on hints and comments that managers gave in interviews.

Remember, Fujifilm will launch 3 or more cameras in the first months of 2024. This means there are still more cameras we have to (and we will) leak here on FujiRumors.

Brightin Star AF 50mm f/1.4 Autofocus Lens for Fujifilm X Unveiled

Brightin Star is already offering a Brightin Star 50mm f/1.4 and you can find it here on Amazon.

But that’s a manual focus lens.

Now they have officially unveiled the Brightin Star AF 50mm f/1.4 autofocus lens for several mounts including Fujifilm X mount. They say it is “coming soon”.

TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 Autofocus lens for Fujifilm X Available Now – First Look Reviews

The TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 autofocus lens was pre-announced in early October, and now it has been fully announced and you can pre-order it here.

The first mount available is the Fujifilm X mount version here.

BRIGHTIN STAR Large Aperture Autofocus Lens Coming Soon

Xingyao Optics announced on their Chinese social media that the will launch a Brightin Star large aperture autofocus lens soon.

Given the trend we see from Chinese manufacturers (see below), it is safe to assume that also Brightin Star will offer an X mount version of this lens.

First Images of TTArtisan 35mm f/1.8 and 56mm f/1.8 Autofocus Lenses for X mount

We already told you that TTArtisan will soon launch the following two autofocus lenses for Fujifilm X Mount.

  • TTArtisan 35mm f/1.8 AF
  • TTArtisan 56mm f/1.8 AF

The TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 will be released on October 6 according to the official Chinese weibo page of TTArtisan here as well as the Japanese website asobinet.

First Image of Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 Leaked

Above you can see the first leaked image of the upcoming Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 (found via 独立摄影师联合会).

In the image we see the Sony version, but there will be also a Fujifilm X mount version.

  • Minimum shooting distance: 0.19m
  • Filter diameter: 52mm
  • AF: STM
  • Weight: 200g or less and may be lighter than a smartphone
  • Sony E・Fuji X・Nikon Z
  • It will be officially announced for Sony E in early October.

TTArtisan 35mm f/1.8 and 55mm f/1.8 Autofocus lenses for Fujifilm X Mount Coming Soon

Qing Li, the founder and CEO of TTArtisan, was interviewed by RIchard Wong.

Around 16′ in this interview Qing Li states that they will soon launch the following two lenses for Fujifilm X mount:

  • TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 XF autofocus lens – Standard Prime Lens
  • TTArtisan AF 55mm f/1.8 XF autofocus lens – Portrait Lens

SIRUI Sniper f/1.2 Autofocus Prime Lenses for Fujifilm X Mount Unveiled

During IBC 2023, SIRUI gave CineD an exclusive sneak peek of their first-ever autofocus prime lenses, called Sniper. There will be three lenses, designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras, Fujifilm included.

  • Sirui Sniper 33mm f/1.2
    – 40cm minimum focus
