BREAKING: Fujifilm X-T5 Price Leaked

Fujifilm X-T5

Crazy inflation, chronic parts shortage, skyrocketing energy prices… the perfect storm to make prices on all kind of products rise fast.

So, given the situation, I frankly had big concerns about the possible Fujifilm X-T5 price.

Concerns, that I must say are now quite gone.

In fact, I hear that the Fujifilm X-T5 will be sold for $1,699.

So basically that’s the same price of the Fujifilm X-T4, but we remind you that the Fujifilm X-T5 will have a new 40MP sensor and the new X-Processor 5.

I am cool with that, and you?

Fujifilm X-T5 rumors recap:

Why Fujifilm Retro Dials are Superior to PSAM Dials

There is this notion that cameras with a PSAM dial are faster to operate than cameras with dedicated retro dials, which slow you down.

And you know what? I get your point!

Imagine you are at a wedding, lots of things happening, tons of pictures to take, your eye glued on the viewfinder capturing all the precious moments.

And having photographed a wedding myself, I can say that conditions change all the time: indoors and outdoor, fast moving and static subjects, group shots and portraits, natural light and artificial light, low light and bright daylight…

In short: whoever is a wedding photographer out there, must be a very skilled allrounder and constantly master all possible photographic conditions.

And from this point of view, being able to quickly adjust all your settings by just turning the front and rear command dial while keeping your eye glued on the viewfinder can be extremely convenient.

So case closed, right? PSAM is for Pros, and Retro is for less demanding photography.

Well, not really.

BREAKING: Fujifilm X-T5 LCD Screen Design Revealed NOW on FujiRumors!

Fujifilm X-T5 Screen Design

Allow me first to apologise for this interruption.

I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of a 7 minute YouTube video, the security of a squarespace ad, the tranquility of a Vlogger’s voice. I enjoy them as much as any bloke.

But in the spirit of rumors, whereby information about future cameras can prepare us for imminent GAS related financial losses, I thought we could mark this day by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat about the Fujifilm X-T5.

There are, of course, those who do not want this to happen. I suspect even now, orders at DPRTV and Co are being shouted at Fujifilm Corporation to redesign the X-T5 or a flood of negative reviews and sad faced Emojis will inundate photography youtube channels.

They promised Fujifilm peace, and all they demanded in return was Fuji’s silent, obidient consent to put selfie screens just in every camera.

But rumors offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth.

And the truth, my friends, is that the Fujifilm X-T5 will have a 3 way tilt screen.

So, my friends, if you feel as I feel, if you seek as I seek true joy in photography, then I ask you to stand beside me in November, here on FujiRumors, and together we shall give influencers an announcement that shall never, ever be forgot, by pre-ordering so many the X-T5 cameras to throw the world into a new semiconductor shortage crisis.

In fact, my Fujifilm X-T4 is now for sale and I will reward Fujifilm’s bravery by pre-ordering the Fujifilm X-T5 myself.

5 Disclaimers – read to avoid angry outbursts ;)

  1. the rumor is 100% accurate
  2. the whole article gives a satirical twist on the sometimes exaggerated seriousness we (me included) approach certain topics in photography
  3. I do love and appreciate the work of YouTube reviewers
  4. the inspiration to this article came from the true statement that Tony Northrup made and we reported here. I can confirm by my sources that Tony is 100% accurate. The power of product reviewers is huge and also Fujifilm sometimes is more focused on pleasing YouTubers instead of customers, in order to get positive reviews from them
  5. I adapted the speech taken from V for Vendetta (see it here), so that the clearly exaggerated tone of this article makes us grin quietly to ourselves with the ultimate goal to help us to take everything with a bit more lightness

Love you all guys.

Fujifilm Managers Interviews: About Competition and Alliances, Dreams of Modular and Fixed Lens GFX and More

There have been two interviews with Fujifilm managers, one in French (the more comprehensive one) and one in Japanese (short).

I will sum up both of them, but the Japanese one only because it involves Koji Matsumoto, the president of Fujifilm Imaging. It does not say much at all, but if we hear from his mouth that X-H2 and X-H2S are selling better than Fujifilm thought, than it has its value.

The French manager was definitely much more talkative and if you don’t speak French, our summary below will cover it all.

So What, Did FujiRumors Fall in Love with Fully Articulating Screens? Would a Fujifilm X-T5 with Selfie Screen be a Dealbreaker for You? POLL

3 Times I Loved the Selfie Screen

I lately shared a couple of posts on my Instagram page, showing images of myself making good use of the Selfie Screen on my Fujifilm X-T4.

So what, did I join the “dark side” and fell in love with fully articulating screens as some have suggested?

Well, not really.

The whole point of these posts was just to show that, in rare cases, a fully articulating screen really simplifies the composition of an image.

So here are 3 times I loved the fully articulating screen on my X-T4 as it allowed me to take a picture that would have been much more complicated and cumbersome to take with any other screen.

The Latest and Greatest

The Latest and Greatest…. NOT!

Not that it is my fault… but I certainly do not help.

I mean, I am attracted by the latest and greatest, my GAS is in constant frenzy (and my wife in constant worries ;)).

My techy-nerdy side is always looking at the details that make the latest and greatest Fujifilm gear better than the one I already own.

With one little distinction: my focus on the latest and greatest does not remain contained to my private life, but I share it publicly here on FujiRumors.

Tens of thousands of fellow X shooters follow me every day in my “obsession” with the latest and greatest, and sometimes the message here on FR might pass, that only what’s brand new and shiny is worth to be considered for this blog.

So let me re-focus, let me for one time ignore whatever Fujifilm has launched in terms of super new gear, and share a roundup that focuses on not so new gear that still brings great joy every day to many of us.

So, I am sorry, Fujifilm X-H2, X-H2S, XF56mmF1.2 R WR, GF20-35mmF4 and even Fujifilm X-T5 and what not. This is not your article. This is not your space.

Nope, this space is for all that gear that came before you and made Fujifilm great, before you even ever saw the light of the day.
