ON1 just released ON1 Photo RAW 2019, and it should make life a lot easier to those, looking to switch from Lightroom subscription model to a standalone software.
In fact, ON1’s new AI-powered algorithms, will give you the ability to transfer your Lightroom edited photos, keep your non-destructive editing settings, and move them into ON1 Photo RAW. See the video below.
Fujifilm announces firmware updates for FUJIFILM GFX 50S, FUJIFILM X-T3, and FUJIFILM X-H1
New functions include the improvement of in-body image stabilization performance for X-H1, 4K HDR video recording and simultaneous output of Film Simulation / F-Log footage for X-T3, and 35mm format mode for GFX 50S
The XF16mmF2.8 is a bit bigger than the XF18mmF2 and a bit smaller than the XF35mmF2.
The comparison is based on the images I took and what I have seen with my own eyes at the Photokina Fujifilm booth.
Of course this can’t be super-accurate, but I’d say it’s 85+% close to perfection. Keep in mind, though, that the size of the XF16mmF2.8 mockup I have seen at photokina might change until the final lens is released sometimes in 2019.

Fujifilm X-T3 has some great lenses like the XF100-400 and new XF200mmF2. Insanely fast AF. Very capable sports and wildlife camera

Overall, Fujifilm X-T3 is the way to go in the crop sensor world.
Today I decided to take a look at the refresh rate of the top/mid range Fujifilm cameras and tried to make a guess (NOT A RUMOR) about when the Fujifilm X-H2, Fujifilm X-Pro3, Fujifilm X-E4, Fujifilm X-T4, Fujifilm X-T30 and Fujifilm X200 (or X100V) can be expected.
Overall we can see how the Fujifilm X-E and X-Pro line are gravitating towards a 4 years refresh time, whereas X-T and X100 line are close to a 2 years refresh time.
WARNING
This is not based on rumors, and it’s not said that Fujifilm will always keep the same product refresh rate. Everything can change anytime.
All 2/3 sensor cameras are not included, since the won’t ever get any successor (not even 1 inch sensor cameras, no matter what old patents say)
X70/XF10: XF10 is not the X70 successor. It’s unclear if there will be a Fujifilm X80 at some point
X-A line has a high refresh rate, but the FR community is for the most part not interested in this camera line
GFX 50S, GFX 100S, GFX 50R: According to our rumors, the GFX 100 comes 2 years and 3 months after the GFX 50S. It’s unclear if the Fuji GFX 50R will also get a 2 year refresh rate or a 4 year refresh rate like its rangefinder brothers the X-Pro and X-E
Thanks to the DNG converter, it is now possible to convert X-T3 RAW files to DNG and work with them in Lightroom.
Another workaround to finally edit your Fuji X-T3 RAW files in Adobe, is to get Iridient X Transformer and convert X-T3 files to DNG using Iridients superior X-Trans demosaicing.
Fujifilm won 29 awards at the Good Design Awards 2018.
Now, I don’t know how the Good Design Award works, but if it’s like EISA and TIPA, then don’t take it too seriously. We have documented here, how EISA and TIPA work. Check the article out, if you want to know get clarity about the (not so transparent) award business.
