Size Comparison: Fujifilm X-T50 vs X-T5, XF16-50 vs XF18-55, GFX100S vs GFX100SII
Camerasize has added the latest Fujifilm gear to their database (although they call it the XT-50 there, so use that term to make your own comparisons).
I will share three comparisons in this article. You can see them below.

Fujifilm X-T5 vs Fujifilm X-T50
If you are unsure between X-T50 and X-T5, and size is a relevant factor in your decision, then the X-T50 is the way to go. You lose weather sealing, but you keep the same image quality.
Fujinon XF 16-50mmF2.8-4.8 vs Fujinon XF18-55mmF2.8-4
If you own an XF18-55 already and never wished to have a bit of a wider lens, then there is no reason to upgrade. But for most people who don’t own either of these lenses, the Fujinon XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 is the better pick. Weather sealed, internal zoom, fantastic macro capabilities, very sharp.
And as we can see, it is even a bit smaller (and also quite a bit lighter as you can see at the BH comparison tool).
The XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 is technically speaking a “kit lens”, but the features and qualities mentioned above definitely elevate it beyond an ordinary kit lens and make it a wonderful allrounder lens.
Fujifilm GFX100S II vs GFX100S vs GFX100 II
We told you already in our rumors that there is no difference between GFX100S II and GFX100S, except for the Bishamon Tex. Well, there is no difference.
But it’s curious that, despite having the identical size, the Fujifilm GFX100S II is actually a bit lighter than the GFX100S, as you can see at the BH comparison tool here.
Anyway, the virtues of the GFX100S II over the GFX100S are mostly in its core (X Processor 5) and all the goodness that comes with it (subject detection, faster AF, Reala Ace, etc).
If I would not own the Fujifilm GFX100S already, I’d go for the Fujifilm GFX100S II, even if the GFX100S is currently a bit cheaper thanks to strong rebates.
So, that’s my quick thoughts.
Feel free to share yours in the comments below and to make your own comparisons at camerasize here.
