The upcoming Fujinon XF16-55mm f/2.8 MKII will weigh 410 gram according to a report shared at the Chinese platform Weibo by the account 独立摄影师联合会 here.

If true, this would mean it weights 37,4% less than the original Fujinon XF16-55mmF2.8.

Can this be true?

Well, the guy behind the Chinese account said he saw the marketing material of the lens.

He has been accurate in the past with rumors and has great connection to brands (maybe also to Fujifilm) and so I tend to believe that the information is accurate.

The first Fujifilm X-M5 video has now been shared at the Fujifilm X series Brazil account (video made by @ronaldonene).

I guess it will be removed soon, so enjoy it for as long as it will be online.

But don’t worry, I have made screenshots in order to preserve this precious moment for the eternity in case it gets removed. ;)

Above you can see the first real life image of the very compact Fujifilm X-M5 coupled with the new Fujinon XF16-55mmF2.8 MKII.

We know it is the new XF16-55mmF2.8 II because right next to the red-badge XF logo there is a switch.

I know, some of you might suggest that this is the OIS switch, but it is not.
