I have received additional information and images about the upcoming Irix f/1.4 lens for the Fujifilm GFX system.

• the lens is going to be weather-sealed
• it is very sharp from the maximum aperture

Irix is teasing a new lens coming for the Fujifilm GFX system in January (as if January wasn’t already hot enough ;) ).

Now, you might remember how back in July 2020 I told you about a very fast lens coming for the Fujifilm GFX system. At that time I was able to give you the following details.

• 1.4 lens for GFX system
• likely manual focus
• it will be a wide-standard lens (wider than the Mitakon)

It looks like this could be the IRIX lens coming soon :). We have two images of the lens shared here. Feel free to check them out.
