Adobe Now Officially Fully Supports Fujifilm GFX100

Just five days ago here, Adobe added film simulation support for Fujifilm GFX100. But as you can see from the screenshot, at that time Adobe still marked the Fujifilm GFX100 support as preliminary.

Yesterday Adobe removed the “preliminary support” notice, so we can finally say that we officially have full Fujifilm GFX100 support.

The Fuji GFX100 itself remains widely out of stock, but there are quite some that had their pre-order shipped and they are all sharing diligently at our massive Fujifilm GFX facebook group.

Adobe is Confused and Promotes Faster Tethering on Nikon Cameras with a Fujifilm X-T20 :)

There is a bit of confusion at Adobe, who, with the launch of Camera Raw 11.2, promotes faster tethering on Nikon cameras using a Fujifilm X-T20 :). Check it out here.

And speaking of PR that goes wrong, back in 2016 Nikon used the Fujifilm X100 on posters to promote the “Nikon heritage”.

Or maybe… is this just another sign that Fujifilm is acquiring Nikon? ;)

On a more serious note, the latest Adobe Camera RAW updated introduced a new “enhanced details” features, which also improves X-Trans file rendering. Huge feedback in the following three articles:

ADOBE Improves Detail Rendering for FUJIFILM X-Trans RAW Files in Camera RAW 11.2

Adobe X-Trans Support Improved

Adobe has just released Camera Raw version 11.2, and it is potentially a very important one for Fujifilm X shooters, since it literally says:

Enhance Details is introduced in Adobe Camera Raw 11.2. Powered by Adobe Sensei, Enhance Details produces crisp detail, improved color rendering, more accurate renditions of edges, and fewer artifacts.

Enhance Details is especially useful for making large prints, where fine details are more visible. This feature applies to raw mosaic files from cameras with Bayer sensors (Canon, Nikon, Sony, and others) and Fujifilm X-Trans sensors.

Do make sure to test it and let us know in the comments. Share also comparison images. And here is the link to the Adobe page.

It’s your choice, guys. Do you want to miss the news or be the last one to know, or do you want to be the first and best informed Fujifilm X shooter on earth? If it’s the second one, then make sure to follow FujiRumors on Facebook, Instagram, RSS-feed and Twitter.
