Viltrox has published two firmware updates for their EF-FX1 and EF-FX2 adapters

• firmware 2.24: ‘Fixed X-H1 lens error BUG‘
• firmware 2.25: ‘ Solved the autofocus problem of Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS II‘ (which doesn’t exist, by the way; there is a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM (non IS) and a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM (the one and only with IS).

Viltrox 85mm F1.8

The Viltrox 85mm F1.8 autofocus lens for Fujifilm X is now available for pre-order at eBay here. Shipping is expected between the end of October and the end of November.

At Photokina, I went hands on with a pre-production Viltrox 85mm F1.8 AF lens using a Fujifilm X-H1, and I share an autofocus video as well as JPEG and RAW samples to download here.
