The rumors, the deals, the news, the gear discussions… it is all well and good. But at the end of the story there is an X-shooter somewhere on this globe composing an image and pressing the shutter button. So let’s take a short break from the ordinary Fujirumors rumors/news/deals mill and focus on the one thing that at the end really matters: the image.
These shots were all shared and voted on the FR-facebook photostream by passionate X-shooters all over the world. Thanks a lot for that. If you also have an absolute favorite image to show, don’t hesitate to share.
How to share images: go to the Fujirumors timeline, click “Photo/Video” and post your image and your comment. They will then be visible at the FR-facebook photostream. The most liked ones will be featured in the next X-shooter Facebook zone.
I wish you a good start in this new week,

Steve McClanahan: Living only 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, my typical visits here are mostly on my bike to go from the city to Marin county. I left the bike home this day and managed to wait until the fog had cleared on the south end of the bridge. Taken on my X-T1, XF 55-200, Edited in Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro 2. I’m loving this camera!

Edo Kurniawan: My first experience on using Samyang Fish Eye 8mm II on my XT1. This lens is small and economical yet powerful. Also the distortion effect is just perfect for the architecture photography. Xt 1 helps a lot by having a tillable LCD screen. It enable me to take a low angle position without a hassle. This one is using velvia film simulation. Strong contrast and saturation. Just the one I need for this kind of photo.

Light With Me: My little girl was frightened by a thunderstorm we were having so we hid out under a blanket with her iPad. I really liked how the light looked from it, so I grabbed my X-E2 with the 14mm and snapped this picture. That camera never stops impressing me with it’s ability to take pictures in low light. This was at ISO 6400. Wow!
